Phil Profitt grew up just outside of Detroit, Michigan and started playing music in his early teens. Never spending much time playing cover songs, he always ENDEaVORED to write his own.
Profitt writes original honky tonk music. Full of heartbreak, whisky, tragedy, and fun, his songs will make you remember what hillbilly music is intended to DO TO your soul. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want to get up and dance. Influenced by the greats, his lyrics tell the truth and the music that accompanies is simple and heartfelt.
